Hydrazine Hydrate is widely used as a reducing agent or as a synthetic intermediate in several industrial sectors, such as in water treatment (effluents, industrial boilers), in chemical treatment processes (metals, mining) or as an active ingredient of synthesis (pharmaceutical and agrochemical products).

Hydrazine Hydrate is marketed as an aqueous solution with different concentrations of hydrazine. It is also used as an oxygen scavenger, antioxidant and as an additive in the water of high pressure boilers to deoxygenate it and to avoid corrosion of the walls.
